An Excel add-in for trialling Microsoft's latest ideas
Microsoft has recently released Excel Labs as part of the Microsoft Garage Project.
Excel Labs is an add-in that will share Microsoft's very early stage ideas with users who are interesting in being involved. Users can trial and provide feedback on the new functionality via the new Excel Labs add-in.
A great opportunity to be involved in the future functionality of Excel.
How to install the Excel Labs add-in
To install the Excel Labs add-in simply download it from the OFFICE STORE.
Once installed you will see the Excel Labs button on the right hand side of the Home tab of the Excel Ribbon:
My thoughts
I love the idea of Excel Labs. It is a great indication of both Microsoft's commitment to the continued investment in Excel and its willingness to listen to its customers.
I will certainly be getting involved.
